Ambassador Vikram Doraiswami was pleased to meet H.E. Zhang Guozhi, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, at the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government on 19 August 2026.

Vice Governor Zhang briefed the Ambassador on Guangdong’s role in China’s economy and foreign trade. They exchanged views on further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economic relations, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
